Training courses for Students

For several years Kate Robinson has been delivering training courses for early years students at local colleges, giving an invaluable insight into Forest School and outdoor learning, to inspire their practice.

At Great Wood Farm we can offer visiting groups of early years students a range of options.

• A two hour forest school session costs £9.50, which involves understanding the ethos and background to forest school, taking part in a taster session, and concluding and reviewing linking in with the EYFS with what learning has been achieved. 
• We charge £15 for the above two hour forest school session and tour around the nursery, lasting 3 hours. 
• The third option is £25 and includes the forest school session and lunch cooked over the fire (e.g. pasta bolognaise and an afternoon two hour tour around the nursery and training workshop on in the moment planning.
